Skipping ahead

The first month here I really didn't do much. I was in quarrentine because I had a low grade fever. I also had a few smooshy bumps under my chin. I heard the word strangles but don't know what that means. All I know is that I didn't feel so chipper.

Then one of the squishy bumps under my chin busted open and some goo came out. I felt better and that bump didn't hurt anymore. My person got a lot of pictures, but I'll spare you from that. Just as one bump started to heal, another one would form and dang did they hurt right before they busted open. There was one that my person had to slit with a knife. There was a Lot of goo that came out of that one.

Every time one of these goo bumps busted open, my person flushed it out with a saline solution and then antiseptic. I didn't mind because it helped make things feel better. She always gave me cookies for being a good girl.

The whole time I was dealing with goo bumps, I was also getting some really good food. I was putting on weight and filling out. My person also liked to brush me off and braid my hair. My mane is really thick and long and my tail reaches the ground.

My first day

A few months ago I met my new person. A shorter lady and she had a friend with her too. I had to get into a trailer and we went for a ride. When we got to the new barn I got rinsed off, my tail braided and I got to stretch my legs a little in the round pen.

I didn't run around or get crazy, just walked a little

And my new person.... Apparently she likes to take a Lot of pictures. Its like I have my very own Paparazzi!
